The ranking for the public tender for the assignment of new authorizations for the rental with driver (NCC) service for the transport of people by car has been approved.
The tender responds to the need to meet the numerous requests of tourists, who are increasingly interested in moving easily to reach the many tourist locations in our region. To date, in fact, such movements are often complex due to the almost total absence of NCC carriers and the simultaneous insufficiency of the routes of scheduled public services, structured for different purposes.
The ranking rewards all applications deemed eligible, for a total of 129 authorizations which will be issued throughout the regional territory, pursuant to art. 2-bis of regional law n. 37/2023.
“The new NCC authorizations – explains the regional councilor for local public transport, Gianluca Gallo – represent a fundamental step to improve the accessibility and quality of mobility services, especially in the areas with the highest tourist vocation. We want to encourage a modern, efficient and widespread offer, capable of supporting economic development and enhancing the excellence of our region. The Region will carefully monitor the implementation of the projects presented, because each authorization is a precise commitment towards citizens and visitors”.
