A Slovak citizen, who escaped European justice, was stopped on the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza. The carabinieri of the Cetraro Marina station, upon reporting the Slovak collateral of the International Police Cooperation Body called Sire.ne (Supplementary Information Request at National Entries) have executed a European arrest warrant, an important judicial cooperation tool between the Member States of the European Union that allows the arrest and delivery of a person sought for criminal proceedings or for the execution of a penalty, Slovak citizen, although born in Russia, who was tracked down by the military in the municipality of Cetraro.
The man, sentenced to the sentence of four years of imprisonment for the crime of embezzlement of a car, committed in Slovakia in 2012, was brought to the Paola prison, available to the judicial authority.
