Wednesday 30 July, at 9 pm at Monte di Pietà, as part of the review Festival of arts and thoughtorganized and promoted by Messina Foundation for Culturewill be represented Stage faceswith Emilio Solfrizzi. A special meeting with the public, designed to create a direct dialogue space between artist and spectators.

Solfrizzi, accompanied on stage by the journalist Marika Micalizzi, will explore the stories behind the scenes and share thoughts about the role of the actor today.

Stage faces It is a lively story made of experiences, questions and new perspectives. Stories, anecdotes and creative processes of those who work on the scene and out of stage.

Solfrizzi has a rare ability to alternate irony and introspection, and his story of the life of actor is full of nuances. An opportunity to dialogue with an actor who crosses the languages of theater, television and cinema with a personal, ironic and authentic style.

His voice has become familiar, his recognizable face, but today we want to go further: talking about roots, languages, identity. What does it mean to start an artistic path away from large centers, and what you earn – or you lose – in having to “translate” yourself into a language that does not belong to us.

Is it different to be born in the province? How important is the place where we were born? And what role does the dialect play in the construction of the identity of an actor? These are themes that everyone touches us, because they speak of belonging and expression. And who better than him can accompany us in this reflection, between jokes that make you think and thoughts that make you laugh?
