From 25 July, research operations in the territory of the Municipality of Nocera Terinese are underway without interruptions to find the man missing since 24 July.
The operations, coordinated by the advanced command post with the participation of specialized staff Tas (topography applied to the rescue) of the Catanzaro Fire Brigade Command, involve dog units, drones, SAF teams (river alpine spele) and other technical and specialist means.
In today’s morning, a team of firefighters found a pair of eyeglasses that, following the appropriate checks conducted together with the carabinieri, are reasonably attributable to the dispersed person, a local doctor.
In consideration of the discovery of this important element, the research will continue with particular attention in the identified area.
Meanwhile, a new appeal formally open an investigation has been launched by Mario Blagano, Antonio’s son. The doctor, according to the reconstruction of the rescuers thanks to the video cameras, came out of the medical guard where he serves, at 5 in the morning with a shoe to the right foot and a slipper at the left foot.
«My father’s disappearance – he says – is everything except that of a hiker who has been lost in the mountains. Why did you get out of 5:00 in the morning during your service? And where did he head? Has anyone called it?
At present, it seems that the only procedure that has been activated is that of disappeared people. I believe that firefighters, hunters squadron, carabinieri in general with helicopters, drones, are doing a great and excellent work. But the investigations? What if someone is behind my father’s disappearance? ».
Mario Blaganò, in particular, asks that his father’s cell phone is analyzed – left to the medical guard – to look for any elements that help to understand what he can
have happened.
The man also highlights that yesterday, in the late afternoon, the rescuers “proceeded to check a ravine near where the molecular dogs had found traces: it was thought to be in the ravine, but they came all the way they did not find it”.
