Giuseppe Peditto, together with his group, made public a letter in which he explains the details of the failed attempt to detect the Acr Messina. The letter describes a path full of obstacles and requests considered absurd.
“I love reading the comments of people especially if you don’t know the job that all my group has done with real realities and things: this is the complete letter. This messenger I send it for the right knowledge of the facts. I tried, together with my group, to detect Messina.
A concrete commitment
We tried with all the strength and tenacity possible but above all with unequivocal and certain facts:
- We sent surety for € 560,000.00 in favor of the cost plan and € 80,000.00 in favor of the rent of the company branch bound for the court procedure;
- We have sent the auditor to ensure the cost plan sent;
- We have accepted all the conditions that were requested to us or: notary chosen by the Court, additional surety in the event of an increase in costs for the team, sponsorship contract signed with ACR Messina to guarantee payments, accommodate the debts that the Court would have sanctioned.
New requests and absurdities
But nothing every time have been able to always make new requests and the last PEC, with our response point by point, we attach it to this in order to make it public in full and for clarity and transparency. The absurdity is to ask for a further guarantee of 1,200,000 euros (however it was to be deliberated in less than 24 hours, they require it with PEC on 31.07,2025 and ready, on our part, the per-deliberra compulsorily by 01.08,2025) for the court procedure when the latter has not yet expressed himself and there is no homologated quantification of the debts. Absurd and even unfounded request because it is not based on a certain and real data.
Transparency and end of the attempt
In addition to the PEC, we also attach the rental contract drawn up by their lawyers and accepted in all the points from us, I consider it right to send it and publish it to be transparent and we want it to be public. But like all the things of life there is a beginning and an end. The 15:00 today 01.08,2025, our peremptory term, passed without any communication and although the commissioner had informed a positivity of our proposal in an informal way, the ACR Messina in the people of the members, lawyers and consultants preferred to make it lap.
