Both in the hamlet of the town of and in that marinara of Tormezzo, the use of water for food and potable purposes is prohibited. This is what we read in an ordinance of the extraordinary commissioner of the common local Carmela Padula. A measure that comes after specific analyzes and that follow the communication of the SIAN service (Food and Nutrition Hygiene Service) of the Cosenza Hospital of Cosenza competent in the area. The samples were made on three fountains, the first in Torremezzo and the other two in the town.
Padula therefore deemed it necessary to interdict the use by the municipal water pipes of drinking water with immediate effect from 30 July.
The analyzes have highlighted parameters that do not comply with the standards envisaged for drinking water, pushing the health authorities to report the situation to the Municipality, which promptly issued the provision.
