“The valleys of myth and music” make a stop to Scaletta Zanclea and Roccalumera: flavors, traditions and great music with Mario Venuti
The journey between flavors, music and culture of the “The valleys of myth and music” project continues, promoted by the Gal Taormina Peloritani. Tonight, Tuesday 5 August, at 20:00, the spotlight will light on the suggestive Piazza San Nicola di Guidomandri Superiore, at Scaletta Zanclea, for an evening dedicated to local identity.
Among the hills overlooking the sea and the profiles of the Rufo Ruffo Castle, the public will be able to live an immersive experience between showcooking, tastings of typical products, popular traditions and the overwhelming music of the vulkan group. A free event to rediscover the most authentic soul of the local villages.
The journey will continue tomorrow, Wednesday 6 August, in Roccalumera, where, starting at 20:00 in Piazza Santa Maria del Carmelo, a new stage will be held in the name of food and wine culture and great music.
The showcooking will be curated by Chef Loredana Carere, while in the tastes of taste it will be possible to savor local excellence. To close the evening, the long -awaited live of Mario Venuti, an artist capable of merged poetry, rhythm and intensity in a show that excites and makes dance.

The journey to the rediscovery of flavors and traditions will continue on August 7th in Rometta in Piazza Garibaldi with the Sikilia, on August 8 in Letojanni in Piazza Cagli, where the bitter orange will perform, then Saturday 9 August in Pagliara in Piazza dei Mille, Rocchenere where we will find the music of the Vulcanika, Sunday 10 in Limina in Piazza Guglielmo Marconi will be protagonists of the Riviera.
