Bisarca in Piacenza buffer van, a 51 -year -old from Reggio Calabria dies

Fatal accident this morning on the A21 motorway, between Piacenza and Caorso, near Roncaglia, towards Turin. The 55 -year -old Bruno Nava, residing in Casalpusterlengo and originally from Reggio Calabria, lost his life. The man traveled together with another man, a 61 -year -old, on a corporate van when, as far as we learn, the vehicle violently buffered a bisarca that transported cars. In the impact, the 55 -year -old died due to the very serious injuries, while the 61 -year -old driver was seriously injured and was transported urgently, with the helicopter rescue, to the Maggiore hospital in Parma. The 118 health workers, the firefighters and the Cremona traffic police also rushed to the scene. Milometric queues were formed on the scene of the accident, with slowdowns of up to three kilometers between the Caorso toll booth and the A1-A21 crossroads, in the direction of Piacenza and the circulation deflected on ordinary roads. The Caorso motorway exit remained closed for two hours while the traffic was temporarily flowed on a lane. It will be up to the traffic police now to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the crash, but the investigations are still in progress.
