Water not drinkable for almost a week in the hamlets Misserio and made of S. Teresa. A problem that is about to become an emergency for the enormous inconveniences suffered by residents who, especially in this summer period, are obviously much more numerous.
Since last Thursday, in fact, an order issued by the first citizen of S. Teresa di Riva, Danilo Lo Giudice, has been in force, which requires, as a precaution, the ban on the use of water for potable purposes and for human consumption.
The provision was necessary since a turbidity was found in the waters from the storage tank that feeds the two hamlets, verified following the reports that came to the Municipality by the citizens of Misserio and after an inspection carried out by the Head of the Aqueduct Service.
