Messina is still at the pole eighteen days after its debut

The ACR Messina officially is still immobile 18 days after the official debut in the Italian Cup of D against Vigor Lamezia. But the more the game is approaching, the more doubts and doubts increase in a square already burned by the relegation and the absurd summer spent and which would not agree to collect even thin figures around southern Italy. As would happen in case of non -presentation to the “D’Ippolito” on August 24th, recalcrating the lines of the first year of the Sciotto era, when the president thought it well not to have the team present in Acireale for the Italian Cup turn.
An official silence that continues despite the deliveries passage now really close: the sports structure should pass through the Aad Invest Group and the minority partner Pietro Sciotto in the hands of the group led by Giuseppe Peditto. The general agreement between the city’s economic operator and the current property of Messina has been reached, but there are still two fundamental pieces, completely independent of the sports branch and purely corporate branch.
The first is represented by the green light that the Court will have to grant, the second from the economic guarantees to cover the return plan from the debt, which will be presented at Palazzo Piacentini within the next week. The hearing is then set for September 10th. Therefore very narrow times from all points of view, with the football ones that loom and can no longer wait. The new potential owners have been moving for some time under a trace to give shape to a sporting organization that can be as complete as possible: with the former Acireale and Rieti Vincenzo Minguzzi as sports director, a coach still to choose from (ballot that may have been restricted to Luigi Panarelli and Angello Bognanni) and a rose to be built practically from scratch.
No fusion in sight with Messina 1947, also because it would not be possible even at the federal level, and no direct passage of Maximiliano Sosa inside the ACR Messina, after the sunset of the project linked to the former city of Sant’Agata. However, it is not excluded that some managers foreseen in that corporate structure can flow into the organigram of ACR itself, if the new course was started.
On the other hand, the negotiation with the Spanish lawyer Arnau Baqué Roig, who had presented an offer based on an alleged portfolio of credit rights with a declared value of approximately 40 million euros, seems to be definitively set aside. A proposal deemed too nebulad to continue. A third way that shows how a few days after the official start of the new sporting season, football in Messina still remains an open construction site. And the time, which first tightened, is now completely exhausted.
