«We want to work. Don’t be paid to do nothing. Because if we continue like this, we don’t know what future we will have ». To say one of the workers of Konecta Crotone, the company that deals with the management of the TIM saleswoman for the digitization of the clinical folders of Calabria.

He said it in front of the President of the Province of Crotone Sergio Ferrari who welcomed a delegation of employees together with the secretary of the conference Fabio Tomaino. The employees Konecta this morning have staged a sit in for asking for clarifications on their employment situation. These are the former Abraham CC workers who, thanks to the project of the Calabria Region for the dematerialisation of medical records, have merged into Konecta from 1 January 2025. For some time the employees Konecta – about 560 in Crotone – complain about a difficult work situation for poor organization, inadequate seat and above all for lack of documents to be digitized.

In fact, only two Asp Calabresi have sent the folders and for a few weeks the flow has been interrupted so much that the company has communicated the suspension of the activities for five days. “A worrying situation,” Ferrari recognized that he informed the employees. «I interned both with the company and with the president Occhiuto. It is expected – he said – a meeting between Konecta and the Region that will have to verify the critical issues reported. After the meeting, a technical table will be called up for the solution of the problems. The Region must also verify why the medical records do not arrive from ASP and hospital companies. ” Tomaino reminded Ferrari that the conference had asked the technical table to the Calabria Region on July 24, listing the critical issues detected by the employees reiterating that “there is no positive aspect that can make you think of efficient, quality and lasting service”.

Le RSA SLC CGIL – FISTEL CISL – UILCOM UIL

The joint examination between the company management of Konecta R and the RSA of the Crotone Slc Cgil Fistel Cisl Uilcom Uil site was held today, regarding the temporary closure of the Crotone site with the location of all staff from 6 August to 24 August 2025, due to the failure to supply the healthcare folders, necessary for the continuation of the work activities.

During the comparison, the trade union organizations highlighted a disparity of treatment compared to the other Calabrian sites, which were not affected by the same measures (number of days of lower holidays), while operating in similar contexts.

Despite the in -depth discussion between the parties, there was no shared position. Therefore, the joint examination ends with negative outcome, without the signing of any agreement.

The company will proceed unilaterally to the application of what was communicated.
