Music at full volume, hundreds of young people on the track and a professional disco set -up, but without any authorization. This is what the carabinieri of the Bagnara Calabra station discovered, which intervened in a bathing establishment illegally transformed into nocturnal place.
The operation, conducted with the support of the local police and firefighters, put an end to an event advertised on social media that had attracted about 500 participants. The controls highlighted serious irregularities: absence of public spectacle license, inadequate and un -reported safety exits, unsuitable fire extinguishers and deficiencies in work safety measures.
The organizer was reported on the loose for abusive opening of the public show and violation of the municipal order on the noise, receiving penalties for a total of 14,000 euros. The disco area was seized.
The military also found another irregularities in a second factory, where a musical event not communicated to the Municipality was underway: a fine of 1,500 euros was triggered for the owner.
After the checks, the carabinieri imposed the stop to music and guaranteed the safety of those present. The intervention is part of the Summer Control Plan of the weapon to ensure order and legality in the places of entertainment of the Province.
