“Crotone has been able to enhance its natural beauty, the archaeological and cultural heritage, the food and wine traditions and the outdoor activities, with the aim of attracting an increasingly varied audience, both Italian and international”. The Councilor for Tourism of the Municipality of Crotone Giovanna Lamanna is satisfied in commenting on the numbers of the visitors of the city over the summer months. According to the Pay Tourist platform, in fact, there were 33,886 overnight stays recorded in the city in the accommodation facilities from 1 June to 31 August 2025. And these are real numbers because they are based on the payment of the tourist tax. 49.67% of these appearances were families, 30.46% groups and 19.87% individual visitors.
