The Mushtaha Tower, a 12 -storey building in Gaza City, one of the few “skyscrapers” left, was destroyed by the Israeli army. The local civil protection reported the death of 29 deaths only today: 19 in air raids against buildings and curtains of displaced people in different neighborhoods of the city and in the suburbs, and ten others elsewhere in the territory.

Before hitting the Mushtaha tower, collapsed like a cards, the Israeli army warned the population “to limit the damage caused to civilians”. Witnesses say they have seen the inhabitants throw their belongings from the upper floors to collect them and escape before the bombing. Less than half an hour after the evacuation order, the tower was hit.

According to IDF, Hamas had installed “infrastructures used to prepare and conduct attacks” against the Israeli army. “In the next few days, the army will carry out precise and targeted attacks against terrorist infrastructures,” added the Israeli command, specifying that skyscrapers will be targeted in particular. The army, which claims to control about 75% of the Gaza strip and 40% of Gaza City, want to conquer the last great Roccaforte of Hamas in the Palestinian territory. According to a high Israeli military official, “one million” of people could leave Gaza City and move the southern part of the territory.

While the manifestations of the relatives of the hostages continue in Israel to ask for the release, the armed wing of Hamas, the Ezzine al-Qassam brigades, has published a video of two of them. One, identified by Israeli media like Guy Gilboa-Dalal, asks Netanyahu not to launch an offensive on Gaza City. The second that appears at the end of the sequence is Alon Ohel, and it is the first time that it appears in a video from the day of its kidnapping, on October 7, 2023.
