In recent days, the State Police, during checks in the Hinterland of Cosenza, arrested a man in the act of crime on 2 September 2025 for alleged possession of illegal weapons, high -potential fireworks and hypothesis of receiving stolen goods.
During the home search in two garages attributable to the suspect, the mobile team seized four pistols (including a serialty -free revolver, a French semi -automatic Cal. 6.35 mm with three shots, a working launcher gun and a Russian Russian gun 9 mm), seven projectiles – six 6.35 mm and one cal. 32 mm – In addition to about 50 kg of fireworks of the F1 and F2 categories and 36 high -potential artisan products.
At the request of the Public Prosecutor of Cosenza, the investigating judge validated the arrest and applied a precautionary measure on 5 September 2025.
