After four years at the top, the major Ettore Pagnano leaves the command of the Carabinieri Company of Messina Sud to take on a new assignment at the Operations Office of the General Command of the weapon in Rome.
Arrived in Messina in 2021 with the degree of Captain, promoted Major in January 2024, Pagnano trained at the Nunziatella Military School in Naples, at the Academy of Modena and at the Carabinieri Official School in Rome, where he obtained a degree in Law. His professional course saw him first at the Student School of Campobasso, then in Foligno as commander of the Operational Unit and Radiomobile, and then to Colleferro, from 2017 to 2021, at the helm of the company.
During the period in Messina, Pagnano directed important investigation activities against common and organized crime, obtaining significant results. There was no lack of commitment to the Culture of Legality, with meetings in schools to sensitize young people to respect the rules, solidarity and civil values.
