Fishing in Calabria, over 2 million euros arriving with the Feampa program

The Calabria Region, through the Agriculture and Rural Development Department, has published a new announcement within the Feampa 2021-2027 National Program-European Fund for Maritime Affairs, Fishing and Aquaculture, with a total financial allocation of € 2,717,063.25.

The announcement supports interventions aimed at improving the quality, safety, sustainability and competitiveness of fishing and aquaculture products, with particular attention to the transformation along the entire supply chain. In particular, investments will be financed for the construction and modernization of the plants and infrastructures, as well as for the purchase of equipment aimed at improving competitiveness and health conditions, safety and work of the sector employees. The public contribution provided ranges from 60% of up to 100% of the expenditure, depending on the type of intervention while the maximum eligible expenditure for each applicant is set at 750 thousand euros.
