First bell around the corner. The Calabrian school universe is preparing for the school year that will come, with everyone (or almost) the class teachers thanks to the relentless work of the five provincial school offices that have respected the ministerial indications, publishing the Zero Bulletin and the Bulletin one by the end of August, then checking the lack of service to proceed with the bulletin two before September 15. There are 360 Calabrian educational institutions (the Education Observatory of the Region tells it): 135 (37.5%) in the province of Cosenza, 92 (25.6%) in the Reggio area, 64 (17.8%) in the Catanzaro area, 37 (10.3%) in the Crotonese and 32 (8.9%) in the Vibonese area. 61.4% are comprehensive institutions, 34.2% secondary schools, 1.4% provincial centers for adult education (CPIA), 1.1% boarding schools, 1.1% primary schools, 0.8% secondary schools single and not involved in comprehensive.
An eye to the profs
At the regional level, the consolidated places (organic of law) of the teachers are 25,408, to which add 357 not consolidated (de facto organic). To be precise: 9.007 in the province of Cosenza (+156 not consolidated), 6,858 in the Reggio (+84), 4,720 in the Catanzaro (+62), 2,547 in the Crotonese (+27) and 2,331 (+28) in the Vibonese. In all five our provinces are cuts in the consolidated places: 82 less than the ’24 -25 in Cosentino, 65 less in the Reggio area, 32 less in the Catanzaro area, minus 20 in the Crotonese, 17 less than last year in the Vibonese.
As regards the enhancement, however, the regional equipment has 1,958 chairs: 93 in kindergarten, 659 to primary, 309 in the secondary school and 897 in the secondary secondary school. Also in this case the province with the most conspicuous number of availability is Cosenza (726), followed by Reggio (506), Catanzaro (350), Crotone (198) and Vibo Valentia (178). Finally, the organic equipment relating to support: 4,533 chairs, of which 193 strengthening. Taking a look at the individual provinces: 1,507 in Cosentino, 1,317 in the Reggio area, 837 in the Catanzaro area, 440 in the Crotonese and 432 in the province of Vibo Valentia. To these must be added the so -called seats in derogation, breath of oxygen for many precarious workers. Last year, for example, they doubled the initial places, guaranteeing the annual assignment to thousands of teachers, a fundamental support for many students with disabilities.
