The episode of drones in Poland is “very serious”. “What creates alarm and that moves on a ridge from which you can slide into an abyss of encountered violence”. What happens in Ukraine is also accentuated by the “threatening statements of the Kremlin to European countries which are an element that induces the alarm. The extremely high risk that slides in an unimaginable and uncontrollable conflict ». The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, said this, speaking from Ljubljana in the first stage of his visit to Slovenia. “Equal concern” to what happened in Poland with the Russian drones “induces what happened in Qatar, because” it is unacceptable that the sovereignty of a
village”.

Sergio Mattarella evokes the summer of irresponsibility, that July 1914 in which no one perhaps wanted war but to the world war came. Citing the trespassing of the Russian drones in Poland, the head of state (now on visit to Slovenia) marks: “What alarms is that we move on a ridge”, so “even without wanting it you can slide into an abyss of uncontrollable violence”. He cites expressly, the head of state, of July 1914, that very delicate phase followed by the attack of Sarajevo in which the powers challenged each other without, perhaps, to arrive at the showdown. Which came, destructive, in August. Now as then, it seems to say, there was an “imprudence in behaviors” for which “even without wanting it” you can slide in the worst of the scenarios. It expressly cites, by way of clarification, the “great responsibility” of the Kremlin declarations, also those of today, “threatening to European countries”.

All this “induces the alarm” and requires the request “that a brake is given”. In fact, the trespassing of drones “represents a very serious episode” (“and equal concern induces the attack in Qatar” of Israeli aviation). We are faced with an “unacceptable violation of sovereignty” of Poland and Qatar, but beyond even these individual episodes “we are faced with an extremely high risk of an unimaginable conflict”.
