First meeting, handshake, smiles and conveniences between the resigning president of the Calabria region and re -candidate Roberto Occhiuto and his competitors Pasquale Tridico, candidate of the progressive field.
The occasion was provided by the “Extraordinary Dinner”, a charity event that sees Corso Mazzini, in the heart of Catanzaro, transformed into an open -air restaurant with a 400 -meter -long stored table for a thousand participants.
In the short meeting, Occhiuto and Tridico greeted each other, wishing each other a “good luck” for the consultations of 5 and 6 October.
The partner of Occhiuto, the Undersecretary Matilde Siracusano, also greet Tridico.
The two candidates then sat down a few meters from each other. Among those present the mayor of Catanzaro Nicola Fiorita, the undersecretary inside Wanda Ferro, leader of Fdi Calabria, and Filippo Pietropaolo, outgoing vice president of the regional council.
