A 45 -year -old man was arrested by the Milazzo carabinieri for robbing a fish shop, threatening the owner with a syringe. The criminal was blocked near the shop shortly after the fact.
According to the reconstruction of the military, the 45 -year -old, already known to the police, entered the commercial activity and, approaching the cashier, threatened the owner with a syringe to be delivered the collection of the day. The man then fled on foot. The alarm was given through the emergency number 112. The carabinieri intervened immediately and, also thanks to the help of a citizen of passage, they managed to stop the alleged robber near the place of the robbery. The booty, equal to 360 euros, was recovered and returned to the owner. The man was brought to the barracks for the formalities of the ritual and, at the disposal of the judicial authority, was transferred to the Barcelona prison, where he will await the judgment on the charge of “aggravated robbery”. This is the second arrest for robbery in a few days for the Milazzo carabinieri, after another attempt to rob in a Torgrotta tobacconist has been foiled.
