Another episode of vandalism shakes the community of Taverna, in Montalto Uffugo. Yesterday morning, inside the “E. Canonaco” municipal villa, some citizens found themselves in front of a scene that left dismay and indignation: the new games for children, recently purchased and installed by the municipal administration, were completely submerged by stones and bricks. An absurd situation, which immediately aroused the attention of the mayor Biagio Faragalli, promptly rushed to the scene. Visibly opposed, the first citizen has firmly expressed all his disappointment: «This is the disgusting that happens to the municipal villa of Taverna. The stones on the games were put on purpose, we certainly did not arrive alone. We are talking about new equipment, purchased with a public expenditure of 31 thousand euros. It is a shame for the whole community, “he said with embittered tone.
