The City Council, on the proposal of the Councilor for Sports Engraving Luca Bossi, approved the technical and economic feasibility project for the energy redevelopment of the Palakro, one of the main sports facilities of the city.

The planned intervention aims to reduce energy consumption, improve user comfort and guarantee more efficient and sustainable management of the structure.

The amount of the loan is approximately 950,000 euros, worth the regional urban agenda program.

In detail, an integrated energy efficiency intervention includes:
* Replacement of the lighting system, both on the playing field and and in the environments placed at the service, with LED solutions;

* redevelopment of fixtures and transparent surfaces with high thermal high performance elements;

* installation of a controlled mechanical ventilation system;

* enhancement and modernization of the thermal system of domestic hot water;

* installation on the cover of a photovoltaic generator with storage system;

* installation of a heating system in the changing rooms to adapt their comfort to the most common standards of sports facilities;

* redevelopment of some stratigraphies of the building envelope, in particular of the flooring
Disrupted, to improve thermal insulation.

* Firefighting system adjustment.

These interventions will allow not only the reduction of energy consumption and management costs, but also a significant improvement in the conditions of comfort, safety and usability of the entire sporting structure.

“Together with the intervention on the Palamilone, we also intervene on the historical sports halls, proof of an action on sports plantation that has no precedents in the city by the municipal administration. Specifically the intervention has the aim of making the structure sustainable from an energy point of view, to break down costs but also to adapt it to the current standards. At the wheel, the executive project will follow and then the works that we plan to start by the end of the year. I thank the municipal offices, in particular Eng.
