Giampaolo Calabrese is the new director of the Calabria Film Commission Foundation. Calabrese’s appointment was formalized with his own decree by the president of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto. The designation comes at the end of the process started with the publication, by the Region’s Tourism department, of the notice for “the selection aimed at appointing the director of the Calabria Film Commission Foundation”, a notice prepared after the resignation of the previous director of the Film Commission, Luciano Vigna.
Calabrese’s appointment is motivated by the fact that – we read in Occhiuto’s decree – his curriculum «shows qualified experience in the management of complex organizational systems and relational skills in the context of the activities related to the tasks carried out; aptitude for organizational and managerial innovation and for the coordinated management of human, instrumental and financial resources, deducible from the functions performed in the different working contexts”.
