The majority group leaders at Palazzo dei Bruzi – Francesco Alimena, Francesco Graziadio, Ivan Commodaro, Raffaele Fuorivia and Mimmo Frammartino – express full and convinced closeness to the mayor of Cosenza Franz Caruso, renewing their total political and institutional support for the city’s government action.
Compactness and support for administrative action
In a joint note, the majority groups underline the importance of unity around the figure of the mayor, recognizing his role as leader of the municipal administration in a phase defined as complex, which requires thoughtful choices and a sense of responsibility. An administrative action which, it is highlighted, is not based on the logic of “one man in command”, but on the value of teamwork.
The group leaders claim a path oriented towards the protection of the public interest, the recovery of the Authority and the overall development of the territory, with the aim of strengthening essential services and promoting strategic interventions for the economic, social and infrastructural relaunch of the city.
Budget and future prospects
The document announces that the City Council will return to the chamber on December 30th to approve the budget changes, considered a fundamental tool for the organization’s programming.
The majority group leaders also confirm their loyalty to the electoral mandate and their will to continue with determination in the implementation of the administrative program until the natural expiry of the mayorship in 2027. Finally, a meeting of the entire council majority was announced, extended to the parties that support it, to be convened after the Christmas holidays to define and relaunch the political-administrative planning for the coming years.
