Sixth consecutive home win and knockout of Casarano already left behind. Cosenza temporarily regained third place, waiting for Salernitana’s response in the home match with Altamura. The Sila team, always in control of the game during the match, needed the final minutes to get the better of a mangy Latina.
Not even time to acclimatise to the match before Cosenza conceded Latina’s goal. The Lazio team took the lead with a feat by Paris, who slipped the ball under the top corner in the 3rd minute. The rossoblù did not let themselves be affected by the cold shower. They began to circulate the ball, reaching the equalizer in the 9th minute: Perlingieri protected the ball following Garritano’s vertical suggestion and touched for Contiliano, who scored his second goal for Sila.
Latina, with little offensive acumen, held out until seven minutes into the ninetieth minute. The one who blew up the Lazio team was Caporale who took advantage of an attempt by Contiliano fouled by the opposing defense to throw an angry shot past Mastrantonio. Cannavò, with an assist from Caporale, secured the score in added time.
