A targeted check, born from a simple suspicion, turned into a drug arrest. The carabinieri of the Rione Modena station arrested a man, accused of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances. The episode is part of the intense territorial control activity carried out daily by the soldiers of the Reggio Calabria Company. It is precisely thanks to this attention that the police noticed the man while he was wandering around with a suspicious attitude inside the entrance hall of a building. A behavior that did not go unnoticed and which pushed the military to deepen control. The subsequent search led to the discovery of approximately 100 grams of hashish, which was immediately seized. The man was then put in handcuffs. The operation confirms the high level of attention of the Carabinieri in combating drug dealing in the city, in a complex context where prevention passes above all through widespread and continuous activity in the area. It should be noted that the criminal proceedings are in the preliminary investigation phase and that the principle of not guilty applies to the suspect until a possible final sentence.
