The political framework is outlined more clearly in view of the municipal elections of 24 and 25 May in Castrolibero. The candidate for mayor Nicoletta Perrotti has formalized the composition of the “Civic Rebirth” list, marking the start of the electoral campaign.
The names and political weight of the list
Among the most important names is Orlandino Greco, regional councilor of the League and former mayor for four terms, a political point of reference in the area since 2001. His presence represents a clear signal in support of Perrotti’s political path.
The outgoing city councilors Guido Greco, Annamaria Buono, Anna Giulia Mannarino and Aldo Figliuzzi also appear on the list, confirming the desire to focus on administrative continuity based on the experience gained over the years.
Also present was Luca Gigliotti, former president of the city council and founder of the Civic Rebirth list, the expression of a political project rooted in the territory.
Tensions and new scenarios
Perrotti herself defined the group as “a strong team, made up of united and supportive traveling companions after what happened”, referring to the recent internal tensions.
The reference is to the break with Francesco Serra, who chose to run independently for mayor, supported by Angelo Gangi, Raffaella Ricchio and other supporters.
A fracture that opens a more complex electoral phase, destined to affect the political balance in view of the vote.
