Copenhagen, today the first European city for sustainability, made major infrastructural and territorial choices immediately after the end of the Second World War and kept them constant, regardless of the color of the administrations that followed. The first major choice was to focus on a metro railway project which allowed the development and consolidation of a highly integrated city: project defined five fingers plan (five finger plane). With this project the city has grown along five subway lines, creating large green areas and services between the “fingers”. Great projects, even just as leading ideas, were put on the table at the beginning of the century for Reggio Calabria. For some, resources have also been allocated.
