The state police arrested a woman in Crotone who was the recipient of a detention order issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Ordinary Court of La Spezia. The woman will have to serve a one-year prison sentence for a scam committed in 2020 in the La Spezia area.
The measure was carried out after the revocation of the suspension of the sentence execution order placed on the convicted woman. The agents of the Crotone Flying Squad, after having tracked down the woman at her home, proceeded with her arrest. At the end of the formalities, she was transferred to the Castrovillari prison, where she will remain at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
The operation is part of the broader territorial control plan established by the police commissioner of the province of Crotone, Renato Panvino, aimed at preventing and repressing crimes and strengthening security in the area.
