There is a formal deed, in black and white, and a set date: 30 August 2026. Palmi will return to live in the Varia. The municipal council approved resolution no. 76 with which the solemn celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Sacra Lettera are announced, officially starting the organizational machinery of the event.
The provision defines a clear structure: organization in synergy between the Municipality and the “Varia di Palmi” Foundation, operational management largely delegated to the latter, use of the main public spaces of the city (from Piazza I Maggio to Corso Garibaldi) in the period between 27 July and 30 August, and approval of an economic plan open to modifications based on the funding still being defined.
