SAC, the management company of the Catania and Comiso Airports, announces that it has started the procedure for the collection of expressions of interest aimed at selecting an economic operator for the sale of a majority shareholding, equal to at least 51%, of the Company’s share capital. Italian and foreign economic operators will be able to participate in the procedure, both individually and in association, in possession of the general requirements established by current legislation, as well as adequate economic-financial capacity and proven experience in the airport management sector. Expressions of interest, accompanied by the documentation requested in the public notice, must be received, under penalty of exclusion, no later than 11.59pm on 3 June 2026, according to the methods indicated in the announcement.
The publication of the notice represents a significant step in the process of valorisation and development of the airport system managed by SAC, with the aim of attracting qualified partners capable of further supporting the growth and competitiveness of the airports.
