Today, around 12:00, the firefighters of the Messina Command intervened in Milazzo, in via Mariano Maio, following a request for support received at SO115, from the 118 health personnel. The intervention was necessary to rescue a woman who had fallen inside her home. Due to the injuries reported, and the particularly narrow structural conformation of the internal stairs of the building, it was decided to evacuate safely from the outside with the aid of the ladder truck sent by the headquarters. The team from the Milazzo Detachment arrived on site with APS and pick-up with an equipped module, rescued the lady with a safe recovery maneuver from the balcony of the house, stretching her out, bringing her to street level and entrusting her to the care of the doctors for transport to the nearest hospital.
