«The center-right confirms itself as a winner in Calabria, once again demonstrating its ability to govern, its roots in the territories and its concrete ability to interpret and respond to the needs of the communities». This was declared by the regional coordinator of Fratelli d’Italia, Wanda Ferro, commenting on the outcome of the administrative elections in the Calabrian municipalities called to vote.
Ferro extended his best wishes to the mayors, administrators and elected councilors.
The results of Fratelli d’Italia
«Fratelli d’Italia achieved a very positive result, confirming the growth of the party and its strong roots in Calabria», added the parliamentarian.
According to Ferro, the data recorded in the capital cities is particularly significant. In Reggio Calabria Fratelli d’Italia obtained 11.22%, winning four seats in the city council, while in Crotone the party reached 9.65% with three seats.
Best wishes to the candidates
The regional coordinator of Fratelli d’Italia then congratulated the new mayor of Reggio Calabria Francesco Cannizzaro, defining his statement as “extraordinary” and maintaining that it “opens a new page for the city, putting an end to the years of decline determined by the centre-left administrations”.
Ferro also sent his best wishes to Vincenzo Voce, reconfirmed mayor of Crotone, and to Anna De Gaio, candidate in the Castrovillari run-off “with great popular recognition”.
