With these words CONF.IAL presents the opening of the new headquarters in Isola Capo Rizzuto, a social and trade union organization that wants to overcome the traditional model made up of slogans, self-celebration and distance from people’s concrete problems.
The new headquarters was born with a clear idea: to stay close to workers, citizens, young people, families and professionals through real presence, consultancy, protection and the ability to transform daily problems into concrete solutions.
Services and assistance to citizens
Fiscal, social security and administrative services will be guaranteed within the structure, as well as dedicated consultancy on schools, public bodies, telecommunications, environmental hygiene and private sectors, thanks to a network of qualified professionals.
“We want to offer direct solutions to the bureaucratic and administrative difficulties that weigh on families and citizens every day. But we want to go beyond the simple concept of an office or counter.”
A modern and courageous trade union model
CONF.IAL claims a modern trade union model, based on dialogue, discussion, ideas and the courage to denounce precariousness, exploitation, insecurity and employment hardship when necessary.
“We believe that the difference is made in the territories, in the garrisons and in the real presence. The further we move away from fragile territories, the more the social and economic problems increase. For this reason we want to strengthen local points of reference and build a new credible ruling class, prepared and rooted in reality.”
Space for young people and fight against precariousness
Particular attention will be paid to young people and precarious workers, with the aim of creating places where they can find not only assistance, but also orientation, transparency, competence and opportunities.
“Today young people are not simply looking for an acronym. They are looking for credible points of reference.”
The consolidation of the provincial network
The opening of the Isola Capo Rizzuto office represents a further step in the territorial path already started by CONF.IAL in Crotone and Cirò Marina.
