It is a cry of bitterness that comes from Tania Sorrenti, owner of one of the Santa Margherita beach establishments, most seriously affected by Cyclone Harry, the meteorological event that devastated part of the city’s coastline, leaving behind extensive damage and bringing businesses to their knees.
Some time after the emergency, while the summer season is starting and the beaches will once again be repopulated with residents and tourists, what remains of its shore continues to await concrete interventions and answers which unfortunately have never arrived.
