Tommaso Greco kicked off the last three days of the 14th edition of the Sila ’49 Prize starting from the central thesis of his «Critique of the reason for war» (Laterza): is it possible to think about peace starting from peace itself, without going through war? On Friday in Cosenza the winner of the “Marta Petrusewicz” essay prize presented his essay in dialogue with the historian Piero Bevilacqua and the political scientist Francesco Raniolo of the University of Calabria. Yesterday in Camigliatello Silano the tribute to Marta Petrusewicz and the dialogue «The continuity of evil» between Tomaso Montanari and Enzo Paolini. Today at Palazzo Arnone the lectio magistralis by Paolo Fresu and the awards ceremony – with the winner for Fiction Matteo Nucci, with «Plato, a love story» (Feltrinelli) conducted by Ritanna Armeni.
