With 15 projects completed and 4 in progress, out of a total of 19, the Municipality of Catanzaro has completed 79% of the works planned under the Pnrr for a total financing of 30.47 million euros. 10.369 billion are allocated to Calabria for a total of 12,382 projects. As regards only the projects in which the Calabria Region is the implementing body, the total contribution is 724.768 million euros for 1,236 projects. Regarding the state of implementation of the interventions, in reference to healthcare and community homes, the general director of the Health department of the Calabria Region, Ernesto Esposito, spoke in recent days, responding to journalists on the sidelines of a conference, explaining how the Region has «respected all the deadlines of the Pnrr and has already signed the agreement with general practitioners and paediatricians for their involvement in community homes». In Catanzaro, the result for nursery schools is particularly significant, going from one to four with three projects completed, while two other projects in progress concern a school canteen and a primary school, for a total of 6.37 million. Among the projects completed in June in the regional capital there is also the construction of 12 additional kilometers of urban and metropolitan cycle paths, for an amount of 3.2 million.
