Three arrests (2 in prison and one under house arrest) and two residence orders. This is the balance sheet of the precautionary measures carried out by the Mobile of Cosenza in Castrovillari (on the basis of an order issued by the local investigating judge, with the coordination of the Prosecutor’s Office led by D’Alessio). The measures against five subjects were decided on the basis of the believed existence of serious cases clues regarding the crime of possession and trafficking of narcotic substances in conjunction with each other, criminal episodes that occurred in the Castrovillari area between January 2024 and July 2025.
A detailed investigation activity, carried out with technical and traditional measures, made it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of supply and sale of cocaine, hashish and marijuana in the territory of the municipality of Castrovillari and nearby hamlets, with the documentation of around 60 episodes of dealing, many of which were found with the seizure of the buyer, confirming what was captured shortly before by the interceptions.
The in-depth investigations also made it possible to collect elements of criminality, for the same crimes indicated, against 10 other subjects who were notified of the Notice of Conclusion of the Investigations.
