After the note from Committees 144 and 1067, which spoke of “about 600” dissidents who had returned their membership cards and the rejoinder from the leaders with MP Sasso and then Furgiele who had reduced the “defaillances” to 246, now a new statement from the Committees puts the number of members who have left at 470. Specifically 390 of Committee 144 and 90 of 1067.
The two Committees speak of “data that can be verified, unlike what was declared by alleged sources close to the honorable Sasso and Furgiuele. For the sake of truth, we want to highlight that the event which took place on 11 July 2026 at the T-Hotel, called “Assembly”, was not an assembly of members, but only a mere shameful theater, characterized by the arrogant and despotic attitude of those who should have had the task of creating the party. And if if we want to talk about numbers – the two Committees continue – then we must highlight that out of approximately 5,000 members the presence of 250 people certainly cannot be considered a “well-attended event”, nor a success, considering that not even the representatives of all the clubs were present, who in reality no one invited. It is evident that the reasons why it was decided to abandon the party are further confirmed by what happened in the days following the release of the first statement, lack of political foresight and recklessness combined with arrogance, aggravated by puerile declarations, which are far removed from the principles that those who find themselves in command of a political party should pursue – concludes the dissidents’ note – it cannot be the race to deny it, but the analysis of the problem followed by the attempt at a solution, far from what happened”.
