A sixty-year-old, FS, originally from the Gioia Tauro plain, was arrested by the carabinieri in Cinquefrondi because he was accused of the attempted murder of a peer.
There was an argument between the two men for trivial reasons in Mammola, in Locride. FS hit his rival with a knife in the throat and fled. The victim was rescued and transported to Locri hospital where he underwent surgery. The carabinieri, coordinated by the prosecutors of Palmi and Locri, intervened at the site of the wounding and, after reconstructing what happened, tracked down the sixty-year-old and arrested him.
