Sometimes absences make more noise than presences and in the friendly match between Catanzaro and FC Paradiso in Livigno there were a couple of very indicative ones. One absolutely obvious, the other less so.
In the first case it was clear that Costantino Favasuli, the most valuable piece on the outgoing market, could not be expected on the pitch. In the second, however, it would have been plausible to imagine at least some time available for Marco Pompetti, someone who was trying to get closer to the club after having asked for a transfer. And yet, despite having no physical problems, the midfielder did not participate in the test.
Let’s go in order, because the sure candidate to pack up and say goodbye to the company is always Favasuli. The winger has been betrothed to Napoli for a while now, and both he and Catanzaro are waiting for the Neapolitans to present the final offer.
