A large fire broke out in the municipality of Rometta, affecting the Serra-Ficarra area located above the municipal purifier. The flames, of considerable size, are spreading rapidly due to the wind, also fueled by the dense vegetation and numerous uncultivated lands in the area. The Forestry operators of the Rometta detachment are already busy on site, coordinated by the team leader Pietro Scattarreggia, to try to contain the fire front. Given the seriousness of the situation and the difficulty of accessing some areas, the intervention of air rescue vehicles is expected shortly.
