Continuous price increases, widespread increases on trains, flights, buses and cars. Through the data offered by the main statistical institutes, Federconsumatori Calabria Aps has prepared the usual survey on the cost of travel in the summer period. A survey which this year was accompanied by an overall look at tourism in Calabria. In the analysis, the association highlights how last season Calabria recorded 1,601,336 national tourist presences (+4.4%) and 482,437 foreign presences (+32.9%), for a total of 2,083,773 (+9.9%); also noting that the domestic component represented four fifths of the total overnight stays, of which 65% were attributable to travelers residing in the South. Remember, then, that in the previous survey almost 60% of the presences were attracted by the municipalities of the Tyrrhenian coast, while 35% of the presences were located on the Ionian side.
