Exactly one month. On July 23rd, Mayor Federico Basile published the notices, tomorrow the “gong” will ring and the deadlines for applying to be part of the small circle of leaders of the investee companies and special companies of the Municipality will expire. At that point within a few days, at most another week, Basile should dissolve the last reservations and proceed with the appointments, taking another step towards completing the “government team” of Palazzo Zanca.
Over 500 CVs have arrived on the mayor’s desk, a sign that there are many who are offering to enter the “galaxy” of satellite companies of the Municipality, even outside the political core of South Calls North. But it is clear that, as has always happened, politics, more than titles, will determine the final choices. There have been several discussions in recent weeks, with Basile involved on the front line, but also with the party leader, Cateno De Luca, committed to “ratifying” agreements in his headquarters this summer, the lido created by his son on the seafront of Nizza di Sicilia.
There are the boards of directors of Amam, Atm, Messinaservizi, Arisme, Patrimonio and Messina Social City to choose from: eighteen highly coveted positions, with more than 550 suitors. An obvious disproportion, which makes the ongoing reflections even more important.
