Roberto Lipari arrives on September 9th at the Ancient Theater of Taormina with “The Last Show”, as part of the Taormina Arte 2026 International Festival, with the artistic direction of Simona Celi.
The new monologue “The Last Show”, produced by the Taormina Arte Sicilia Foundation, was born from a question: if for a comedian the first time on stage is never forgotten, what happens when the last time arrives? Will it be the funniest, the most surreal, the most personal? From here a monologue takes shape in which Lipari leads the audience on an introspective journey and, for the first time, talks about his own life, the paradoxes of everyday life, doubts and dreams.
Without giving up the look at society and generations, the show proceeds between laughter, reflections and questions, up to the question that accompanies the entire story: will this really be the last show?
The text is written by Roberto Lipari with Ignazio Rosato and is produced and distributed by Tramp Management.
Sicilian comedian, actor, author and director, Roberto Lipari made his name in 2016 by winning the talent show “Eccezionale Veramente” on La7.
In the 2016/2017 season he joined the cast of Colorado, then returning to “Eccezionale Veramente” as co-host.
Since 2019 he has been part of Striscia la Notizia as a correspondent and, since 2021, also as a presenter alongside Sergio Friscia. In 2022 he participated in the return of Zelig, while since 2023 he has been in the cast of Only Fun – Comico Show, of which he is also a regular member in the 2025/2026 season.
In parallel with television, Lipari has developed a cinematographic path as an author, performer and director. In 2019 he is the author and protagonist of “Tuttapposto”; in 2023 he signed “So tutto di te”, in which he is the protagonist, screenwriter and director, with Leo Gullotta in the cast; in 2026 he returns to the big screen with “Cena di Classe”, of which he is one of the screenwriters and protagonists.
His previous show “E ho dice tutto” also became a one man show for the prime time of Italia 1.
