Tomorrow, Sunday 30 August, the city of Reggio Calabria is preparing to host the 2026 edition of the “Triathlon of the two seas”. To guarantee the correct running of the sporting event and the maximum safety of the athletes and the public, the local police has made important changes to vehicular traffic since the early hours of the morning.
With executive order no. 689 of 26 August, the following main provisions were established:
From 7am there will be an absolute ban on parking (with forced removal) on Viale Zerbi, Lungomare Falcomatà and in the Tempietto area.
From 7.30am the total closure to vehicular traffic along the city arteries affected by the race route comes into force.
The local police recommends maximum collaboration to citizens and invites all motorists to pay maximum attention to the temporary signs already positioned in the affected areas, in order to avoid financial penalties and the forced removal of vehicles.
