Among the promoters of the initiative is Gianluca Pini, a former parliamentarian who left the Northern League but is still on the federal council of the Northern League, a structure that remained alive after 2017 as a sort of bad company, to pay the 49 million that he must return to the State. The aim of the congress would be to ‘snatch’ the Northern League from the control of the current commissioner Igor Iezzi, very loyal to Salvini.
