The woman who died after being stabbed Monday in Times Square was Erin Piacenti, from Chester, New Jersey, she was 32 years old and was a vice president of business at Bank of America. The identity was revealed by the New York police.

Piacenti, who celebrated the second year of marriage twenty days ago, graduated in 2016 from the University of Pennsylvania and in 2021 obtained a master’s degree in law from Fordham University.
The attack among tourists
The manager, chosen at random as a target, was shot in the abdomen by Pamela Cisneros, 48, a woman with mental problems who was later killed by the police. In the attack, carried out between 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, among dozens of people including many tourists, a 68-year-old man who had just left the subway station and was about to cross the street was also seriously injured. Cisneros was armed with two large kitchen knives.
