Germany’s accusations against Russia over the drones at Leipzig airport and Berlin’s diplomatic retaliation represent “the beginning of a real war”, said Russian Foreign Minister Serghei Lavrov. «They found a drone. They said it was a Russian drone, but no one bothered to investigate. This is, in principle, the beginning of a real war,” Lavrov said in an interview with the state television agency reported by Interfax.
“They have kicked out the (Russian) Consulate General from Bonn, they are closing the Russia House in Berlin,” Lavrov underlined, citing the retaliatory measures announced by Germany. “I remember – added the head of Russian diplomacy – that the Germans closed their diplomatic missions even before the start of the Second World War, or, rather, the Great Patriotic War”.
